I needed a Vet closer to home, with more convenient opening hours. I registered my fluffers on Wednesday with the sole intention of getting a Saturday appointment. I rang at 8:30 and was offered an appointment in an hour!! My Old boy has had a stroke and thankfully no invasive/exploratory procedures were suggested. I’ve taken him home to love him until the next one, but I have peace of mind that we’re with an outstanding practice, and his needs will be met as and when. He also had a cyst on his back, he allowed the Vet to shave and empty it, she was so gentle with him. Thank you!

Took our cat here for her 2nd vaccinations only because we had a voucher from Cats Protection where we got her from. Easy to find and parking directly outside, staff friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience for us and out cat.

The latest visit with our 10 year old collie for his check up and booster was actually a joy. The vet was so incredibly kind and friendly. Our dog can be quite wary but not with this vet who completely spoilt him and fussed him so much he didn't even know he was having his injection. Her advice was excellent too. The receptionist was friendly and efficient and the place is always spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

I moved house 18 months ago and hadn't moved vets. My 12 year old Lhasa got an awful airborne illness and was really poorly. I called Westwood based on the reviews and that is is fairly close to me (Sherburn). They got me in that day and were absolutely fantastic with my dog and me. Highly recommend. Plus he got better after anti biotic and an anti-sickness jab. Prices cheaper than my last vet too.

Seems weird to be giving a review on a vets, especially under the circumstances I visited. Staff were exceptionally friendly, professional & helpful. I'm glad we found the cats owner ♥️

Been using Westwood vets for 10 years since our puppy first arrived with us. Without exception everyone is extremely welcoming, friendly, reassuring, and above all totally professional, and that includes all reception staff, not just the vets. Have recommended them to other pet owners on many an occasion.
